RdM Reactor

Trienxis has developed and patented a Mixing Reactor (RdM) that is integrated into the client's existing wastewater treatment plant and achieves increased efficiency of chemical products by catalysing reactions between chemicals and contaminants. It optimises and stabilises the treatment outcome in discharge parameters consistently (99.93% of the time).

By combining high pressures and velocities, the Mixing Reactor achieves the breaking of bonds and certain compounds, as well as the decomposition of complex molecules into simpler ones that are more easily precipitated.

After passing through the Mixing Reactor, the chemical product used in the treatment can perfectly dissociate in the water as its bonds are broken, becoming 100% efficient and requiring much lower dosages than in conventional treatment.

We have different variants of reactors depending on the fluid/water to be treated:
  • Treatment of metals such as Zn, Cu, Ni...
  • Treatment of wastewater with organometallic compounds such as Zn-Ni or chemical Nickel (NiP).
  • Treatment of water concentrated in highly toxic oxidisable compounds such as cyanides, ammonium, pesticides, herbicides, etc.
  • Treatment of industrial water with organic compounds such as BOD5 and COD.
The Mixing Reactor is sized for each client based on:
  • Treatment flow rate.
  • Elements to be treated.
  • Discharge limits (KPI).
  • Physical-chemical characteristics of the water.
  • Configuration of the existing treatment plant.

Types of Reactors by Trienxis

RdM 100
  • Height: 1,5 m
  • Width: 1 m
  • Length: 1,7 m
RdM 20
  • Height: 0,88 m
  • Width: 0,26 m
  • Length: 0,63 m
Bespoke reactors
  • We design our reactors tailored to special cases, always adapting to the available space in the client's WWTP and according to the multiple circumstances that may surround the purification process.
  • The reactors are designed to be easily attachable to the WWTP and can be maintained periodically in the simplest way possible.

Eager to tackle any challenge,
we incorporate into our services

Treatment of wastewater containing complex chemical oxidisable compounds such as herbicides and pesticides.

BOD and COD. Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) are among the most important parameters in measuring the degree of pollution in certain wastewater.

We have several mobile pilot treatment plants that we can quickly deploy at potential client sites, allowing us to conduct initial on-site tests for result validation and consumption confirmation.
